Tonino Guerra's exhibition opens in Moscow

An exhibition of art works by prominent Italian screenwriter, playwright, poet and painter Tonino Guerra opens in Moscow. The exhibition is timed to the 90th birthday of Guerra and displays 25 paintings, ceramic tiles and also pieces of furniture painted by the Maestro himself. There are also biographic photos and footage of Guerra who is a very versatile and talented person. As a screenwriter Tonino Guerra worked with such filmmakers as Michelangelo Antonioni, Federico Fellini and Andrei Tarkovsky. He earned 6 Oscars and 8 Golden Palm Awards in Cannes. He is also the author of numerous squares, fountains, gardens and sculptures in Italian towns.
