Russia is offering Iran diplomatic help in implementing that country’s agreement with Turkey and Brazil for the Iranians to use Turkish territory as a site to exchange their low-enriched uranium for fuel to run a research nuclear reactor near Teheran. The initial swap should be 12 hundred kilos for 120 kilos. Russia hopes this arrangement can help the family of nations sort out nuclear disagreements with the Iranians. This country’s national security supremo Nikolai Patrushev told this to his Iranian counterpart Saeed Jalili in a telephone conversation with him on Friday. The West meantime continues to suspect Iran if hiding nuclear weapons plans. The Security Council’s Permanent Five plus Germany are considering an American resolution for new United Nations sanctions against Iran.
