A sunken German WWII barge with about 10.000 shells on board has been discovered off the westernmost Russian port town of Baltiysk at a depth of 20 meters. The lifting and scrapping of the shells will begin in the middle of June and may take as long as three years, the Emergency Situations Ministry announced Thursday.
