The Chicago Blackhawks won the 2010 Stanley Cup beating the Philadelphia Flyers 4:3 on Wednesday, ITAR-TASS reported.

This is the team's first Cup since 1961, while the Philadelphia Flyers' last victory of the Stanley Cup goes back to 1975. It is remarkable that this year the teams which entered the finals had failed to do that over the last ten years.

The 2010 Cup has also become the first Cup in many years without the participation of Russian ice hockey players.
