Russia taking part in 2010 Eurosatory warfare exhibition

From June 14th to the 16th, Russia is to take part in the 2010 Eurosatory Defense Industry Tradeshow near Paris. This will be the 8th time that Russia takes part in the military hardware exibition and event.

Of particular interest, Rosoboronexport the state intermediary agency for  the import/export of defense-related products, technologies and services, is to present the export version of the Buk-M2 missile system Buk-M2E. This medium-range missile system is the only one in the world capable of destroying, not only aircraft of strategic and tactical air forces, but also tactical ballistic missiles. 

The officials with Rosoboronexport also expect the Iskander-E missile system to be in the spotlight at the exhibition. This year 1,200 defense companies from 52 countries are to take part in the Eurosatory tradeshow.
