Heat wave sets new records in Moscow and the Moscow Region.
An unprecedented 35.2 degrees centigrade was reported on Saturday, beating the 1936 record by one degree.
Moscow and the region have been sweltering in abnormal heat since the middle of June.
The hottest July temperature records have been beaten four times – on the 16th, 17th, 22nd and 23rd.
According to weather forecasters, still new records can be set within the next five days.
Temperatures are expected to go above 34.3 on Sunday, 33.5 on Monday and 34.8 on Tuesday.
