A team of Russian ice hockey legends led by the Olympic champion Alexander Golikov has defeated a team of government ministers led by Deputy Premier Alexander Zhukov in a hard-fought match in a Moscow ice arena.

  

The main time ended in an 8-8 draw. In a subsequent penalty shootout, the veterans won 2-0.
