Turkey and Brazil may join six-party talks on Iran. A proposal to that effect came from Iran, and representatives of the EU and of Russia, the United States, China, France, Britain and Germany are meeting shortly to discuss it. Russia welcomes Turkey and Brazil to join in.

The conflict over Iran aggravated after Tehran refused to have its uranium enriched in Russia and made into nuclear fuel in France. A few days ago the UN Security Council introduced new sanctions against Iran.
