The British Prime Minister David Cameron feels that the current war in Afghanistan is impossible to win.

The influential British weekly The Spectator writes in an article, titled “How We Lost the War” that Cameron has given up all Afghanistan-related plans.

The Prime Minister reached the conclusion before the publication of 90,000 classified documents on Afghanistan in the Internet.

Cameron has said that Britain will start pulling its troops out of Afghanistan next year to withdraw all of them by some time in 2014.

The Spectator further points out that Cameron has a very vague idea of just how the consequences of this kind of humiliating surrender will affect the international status of such a major power as Britain, as well as of the effect that the surrender in question will have on the defence strategy of the West in general.
