According to a senior defence official in the Czech Republic, his country is to host an American anti-missile facility. The centre will be processing information on possible missile launches on targets in Europe and North America. The Czechs will provide the premises and some of the services for it.
The cost is estimated at 2 million dollars. This is a tiny fraction of what was to be spent on an early-warning American radar near Prague. Fortunately, President Obama cancelled the radar plan.
