US to build missile warning center in Czech Republic

The United States is planning to build an early missile attack warning center in the Czech Republic to collect and process data about possible missile launches targeting Europe and North America, ITAR-TASS agency reports.

The $2-billion center will replace a more expensive missile defense radar that was initially supposed to be deployed on the Czech territory
