Young chess players vying for ticket to world championships

More than 200 young chess players from Russia, Portugal and Vietnam are showcasing their skills at an international contest now on in Russia's Volga city of Naberezhnye Chelny.

The top winner will be rewarded with a trip to the world chess championships.

The 12th world chess champion Anatoly Karpov is a guest of honor.
