New restrictions on retail sales of strong alcohol drinks will be introduced in Moscow as of September 1 under City Hall’s decision.

Drinks with the content of alcohol exceeding 15% will be barred from sale from 10 p.m. till 10 a.m., extending the current night-time alcohol ban by three hours.

The restrictions will not concern cafes, restaurants and night clubs.
