Mission Control Center corrects ISS orbit

The specialists of the Mission control center have conducted the orbit correction of the International Space Station (ISS), ITAR-TASS reported Thursday.

The orbit has been moved 2.2.meters higher prior to the docking of Russia's cargo space vehicle Progress.

The orbit correction is also necessary for the landing of Russia's Soyuz TMA-18 spacecraft.

Russian cosmonauts Alexander Skvortsov and Mikhail Kornienko and NASA astronaut Tracey Caldwell Dyson will return on Earth on September 24.
