Lavrov awarded with Armenian order

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has been awarded with Armenia’s St.Mesrop Mashtots Order for his “considerable contribution to the development of the Russian-Armenian cooperation.”

The award ceremony took place in Yerevan on Thursday, which saw the beginning of President Dmitry Medvedev’s visit to Armenia.

Attending the ceremony was also Armenian leader Serge Sarkisian.
