Thailand and Cambodia  will resume diplomatic ties and exchange ambassadors on Tuesday.

The ties were broken off after Cambodian's prime minister Hun Sen had appointed the ousted Thai leader Thaksin Shinawatra as his economic advisor.

Now, Thaksin has left the post and immigrated.
