Russia to build military ties with Poland

The military establishments of Russia and Poland will organize joint exercises and trade experience in implementing reforms.

There will be strong day-to-day ties between Russian and Polish units stationed along the shared land border.

These are agreements after a Moscow meeting between the Chiefs of Staff, Generals Nikolai Makarov and Mieczyslaw Cieniuch.

The Generals also looked into possibilities for Polish military transit to Afghanistan across Russian territory.
