Russia prepared for cooperation with Moldova – Medvedev

President Dmitry Medvedev has sent a message of greeting to the acting Moldovan President, Parliament’s speaker Mihai Ghimpu on the occasion of Moldova’s Independence Day.

The two nations, Dmitry Medvedev says in his telegram, have been traditionally linked by close relations of friendship and trust, by spiritual and cultural affinity.

Russia has always supported Moldova’s efforts to become a sovereign neutral state.

Russia is prepared to further develop constructive mutually advantageous cooperation in the interests of regional stability, the Russian leader says in his telegram.
