This country hopes the US Senate will lend bipartisan support to the latest Russian-American Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty.
The Lower House’s foreign affairs head Konstantin Kosachov also said in Moscow Friday that his committee is working to organize parallel and almost simultaneous ratifications.
The Treaty was signed by Presidents Medvedev and Obama at an April Summit in Prague.
It commits the sides to reducing their nuclear warheads and strategic delivery vehicles by at least one third.
