Yanukovitch praises enhanced trade volume with Russia

President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovitch, who was interviewed by Deutsche Welle on Saturday, said that Russia and Ukraine have been witnessing a boost in relations amid enhancing trade volume over the past six months.

Mr. Yanukovitch said he was satisfied with the tendency and criticized the previous Ukrainian government for freezing economic deals with Russia which resulted in a 15% drop in the national GDP.
