The Russian crew of the International Space Station is finalizing preparations for the planned undocking of the Progress freighter  from the space outpost, a Mission Control Center spokesperson said on Monday.

The past several weeks have seen efforts by Alexander Skvortsov, Mikhail Korniyenko and Fyodor Yurchikhin to install waste containers on board the cargo spacecraft freighter, which is scheduled to undock on August 31.
