Gold treasure on Baikal bed?

Russian minisub crews reaching the bed of the southernmost inlet of Lake Baikal  have discovered what they believe is part of a gold treasure once carried by the retreating armies of the anti-Bolshevik military leader Admiral Alexander Kolchak.

Legend has it the gold fell into the lake from a derailed rail carriage.
