More than 200,000 books in various languages went on display at the Moscow International Book Fair with Belarus enjoying special prominence as this year’s guest of honor.
Dozens of Russian writers, actors and politicians, among them the former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, will present their new books.
More than 70 translators from 25 countries will gather in Moscow for a congress of literary translators, the first such event to be held during the Moscow book fair.
