At least 55 people died when Pakistani aircraft delivered a strike at targets in the northwest of the country.

According to the military, the air raid helped wipe out the terrorists’ bases, where suicide bombers were trained.

According to government officials, 12 civilians also died in the attack.

The Pakistani Army has been conducting a large-scale operation on the Afghan border since October last year.

Many Taliban and Al-Qaeda militants have found refuge in the area.
