Brazilian city fathers busted for bribery

The mayor of the Brazilian city of Dourados and 26 local council officials have been arrested on bribery and fraud charges.

A judge has been appointed to run the city of 200,000.

Mayor Ari Artuzi and his collaborators are accused of taking a 10% cut of all public works contracts and using the money for campaigning needs and to bribe local politicians, the BBC reports.
