Polish and Russian Foreign Ministers are meeting in Warsaw to discuss  an agreement on cross border-traffic between Russia's Kaliningrad region and Poland.

Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov believes the agreement is to promote a visa- free travel between Russia and the EU.

During the Rostov-on-Don summit on June 1 Russia forwarded a package of draft agreements on visa-free travel to the EU.

Germany and France backed the initiative.

Lavrov said that Poland also supports the visa-free project.

Russian president Dmitry Medvedev will discuss the issue during his forthcoming visit to Poland.
