Lithuania marked the 65th anniversary of WW2 end on Thursday.  

A solemn gathering of veterans was organized in Vilnius to celebrate the republic's liberation from Nazi occupation.

A Lithuanian parliamentary deputy, who addressed the gathering, regretted that Lithuania still has not fully realized the aftermaths of WWII and the role of the USSR in it.
