Russian scientists have designed a telescope for finding space debris which remain undiscovered by other equipment.

The information comes from the Lebedev Physics Institute.

The new lens telescope can discover space junk several hundreds kilometers away.

It doesn't need a special satellite and can be installed on any spacecraft.

Space garbage has recently become a serious problem.

Some 100,000 defunct rocket stages, fragments and other objects are circling the Earth creating a serious risk of collision.
