Israeli PM Benajamin Netanyahu is mulling the possibility of putting the future of the West Bank to a popular eferendu, the first in the history of he Jewish state.
He said that withdrawing from the West Bank, the "kernel of Judaism", would be the hardest decision ever taken by Israeli leaders, that why he needed overwhelming popular endorsement to move out.
The West Bank went under Israeli control in the wake of the Six Day War of 1967.
