Russian, French warships to hold PASSEX drill

The Russian heavy missile cruiser Pyotr Velikiy arrives at the French port of Brest on Monday to take part in the PASSEX joint exercises with the French Navy.

The warships will practice joint maneuvers at sea, replenishment of supplies, ship-to-ship transfer of goods and helicopter landings.

The world’s largest battle cruiser,  the 250-meter-long Pyotr Veliky has a displacement of more than 24,000 tons.
