Red Army weapons at Berlin Karlshorst to get 2nd birth

Russia is allocate € 100, 000 on the restoration of the Red Army weapons installed in front of the German-Russian Museum at Berlin-Karlshorst.

The restoration work will be carried out on the items of the Soviet weaponry which were installed in the open air in 1967.

The museum is dedicated to German-Soviet and German-Russian relations with a focus on the German-Soviet war of 1941-1945.

It is at the historical venue of the unconditional surrender of the Nazi German armed forces on 8 May 1945.
