At least 30 die in India bus river plunge

At least 30 people are reported to have died after a bus plunged into a river in India.

The overcrowded vehicle skidded off a flooded bridge and into the water while travelling through the state of Madhya Pradesh.

India's roads also have the highest death toll in the world, according to the World Health Organisation.

More than 110,000 people die annually nationwide in road accidents, according to police figures.
