After four months, Somali pirates have released a Bulgarian-flagged ship with 15 Bulgarian crew on board.

The vessel is on its way home.

There is no word of any ransom payment.

Earlier on Thursday, commandoes from an American warship in the Gulf of Aden freed a German container carrier.

The crew consisted of 11, including two Russians.

Both have been flown home.
