The federal government has ruled to double the per capita help to the burned households to one hundred thousand roubles.

Up to a hundred more thousand will be provided regionally.

Prime Minister Putin has told this to locals in a burned village in the region of Nizhny Novgorod on his first visit there since the height of last summer’s wildfires in August.

He also inspected new housing in the village.

The blazes destroyed 32 hundred houses in 20 regions. Fifteen regions report the completion of reconstruction projects.
