Medvedev says Right Cause is good for parliament

Having the Right Cause party in the Russian parliament will do it good and expand the representation of conservative circles, Dmitry Medvedev said at Wednesday’s press conference at Skolkovo.

He believes that Right Cause has its own voters and if its members consolidate, they can achieve success.

One of Russia’s leading businessmen Mikhail Prokhorov is ready to lead Right Cause. The Party is currently not represented in the lower house of parliament, but expects to get a spot there in December. Prokhorov says Right Cause has what it takes to become the second biggest parliamentary party after the ruling United Russia.
