The Russian Defence Ministry has pushed back the date of the fourth and this year’s final launch of the Bulava submarine-launched ballistic missile from November 28th to June next year due to an unfavourable ice situation in the White Sea.

Earlier, the Defence Ministry planned firing two missiles in a salvo launch, with the ensuing passing the missile and the missile-carrier, Yuri Dolgoruky submarine, into service.

The Bulava-30 missile can deliver up to 10 hypersonic manoeuvrable individually-targeted re-entry vehicles, capable of changing the flight trajectory.

The maximum flight range of the missile makes up 8,000 kilometres.
