Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin today bobsledded down the Paramonovo track, a venue which will soon host the European Luge Championship and the World Cup final race.
While watching the Russian team getting ready for the upcoming races, Vladimir Putin couldn’t resist trying out this modern race track located at the biggest bobsleigh training center in Russia. Putin raced down the track in a tandem led by Russian bobsleigh champion Aleksei Shadeyev.
It took the fledging team two tried to make it to the finish line, where they were cheered at by a crowd of sports officials, journalists, as well as bobsleighers and tobogganers.
When asked about his impression of the bobsled, the prime minister answered with “I liked it.”
