A pet cemetery has been desecrated in a Paris suburb. Criminals removed a diamond-studded collar from the remains of a poodle in one of the graves.
According to police, the value of the stolen item exceeds 9000 euro. Rumors of a hidden treasure at the pet cemetery had circulated for the past few years.
The owners of the poodle, named Tipsy, had dearly loved their pet. When it died in 2003, they buried it, bejeweled-collar and all.
