On Friday the hacking group known as Anonymous claimed a new series of hacks against the US Federal Trade Commission and consumer rights websites, theblaze.com reports.

The cyber rebels said they had attacked the FTC’s consumer protection business center and the National Consumer Protection Week website in protest against  the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement, or ACTA, recently signed by several countries.

FTC said its websites would be put back on only after all security problems had been properly addressed.
