The NATO troops have destabilized the situation in Libya and in the region at large, specifically in Mali, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told a joint news conference following his talks in Moscow earlier today with his Moroccan opposite number, Saad Eddin Al-Osmani.
Outbreaks of violence continue to be reported from Libya, with instability spreading to the neighbouring countries in the form of arms smuggling and infiltration of rebel fighters.
In this context, Lavrov said again that he is certain that any other Libyan-style scenario is inadmissible.
Russia and Morocco have called for settling regional problems through national dialogue, without any external interference.
