New North Korean chief, Kim Jong-un, has expressed his moral support and solidarity with Syrian strongman Bashar al-Assad in his fight for the republic’s sovereignty and stability, Korea’s state-backed news agency reports.
Kim Jong-un wished the Syrian president good luck in restoring peace in the nation.
The North Korean leader timed his announcement to the 66th anniversary of Syria’s independence.
