A task force of the Russian Airborne Troops departed to the United States on Saturday to take part in the first US-Russian anti-terror drills due in Colorado later this month, a Defense Ministry spokesman said.
He added that according to the exercise scenario, the soldiers will stage a series of strategic operations including simulated reconnaissance of a terrorist camp and coordinated raids.
