Four Russian bikers detained in Iraq on May 20 will travel home on May 27, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated on Saturday.
The bikers are currently in Russia’s Embassy and awaiting visas to be able to leave the country.
The bikers had been arrested and charged with espionage as their visas appeared to be fake. They spent almost five days in a military prison in Baghdad.
Russian bikers still unable to leave Iraq
The Russian bikers that have been released from jail in Iraq have so far been unable to leave the Arab country, since they need new visas, according to the Rossiya-24 television channel.

If this is proved to be true, criminal proceedings may be initiated against the intermediary.
