Russia`s Buranovo Grannies who won the second place at the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku say they are happy with the results.
“The Grannies` tears are tears of joy. This is happiness. The Grannies are very glad with the success”, spokeswoman for the Grannies Maria Tolstukhina told the media.
The Buranovo Grannies earned 259 scores for their Party for Everybody song.
As the Grannies already said, they will spend the prize money to build a church in their native village in Russia`s Udmurt Republic.
Sweden`s Loreen won the contest gaining 372 scores for her song Euphoria. In all, 26 countries competed in the final.
