Similar plans by Latvia’s Jews have already been welcomed by Latvian President Andris Berzinsh.
The Nazis exterminated almost 90% of the 80,000 or so Jews who lived in Latvia before WWII. They also confiscated some 200 properties from members of the Jewish community.
