Accordingly, it is urging the international community to help the Syrians put an end to violence and start up reconciliation talks.
Foreign Minister Lavrov spoke about this in Geneva Saturday after emerging from the latest international conference on Syria.
He had also held separate meetings with international envoy Kofi Annan, the European Union’s foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton and his Chinese and Iraqi counterparts, Yang Jiechi and Hoshyar Zebari.
