Earlier this year, the document was also ratified by Russia and Belarus.
Kiev hopes that the agreement coming into force will be followed by a 4.7-billion increase in Ukraine’s Gross Domestic Product and a 1.2-billion hike in the country’s state budget.
The agreement was signed in October 2011 by Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan and Ukraine.
