TrapWire, a surveillance system more accurate than modern facial recognition technology, has been implemented all over the United States by Abraxas, a hushed up company staffed with crème de la crème of the country’s intelligence community.
According to the disclosed e-mails, every second data is picked up at surveillance points all across the States and delivered to a fortified central database center at an undisclosed location to be aggregated with other intelligence.
This week security researcher Justin Ferguson brought attention to the implementation of TrapWire in public spaces, with selected targets appearing abroad as well.
Files on USASpending.gov further revealed that the US Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense together awarded Abraxas and TrapWire more than one million dollars in only the eleven months.
