International rating agency Standard & Poor's has confirmed the long-term sovereign credit rating of Colombia, improving the outlook from stable to positive. The relevant information was circulated by an S&P representative.
The improved credit rating outlook of the country reflects the agency's experts’ confidence that implementation of planned fiscal policy measures will facilitate budgetary performance, such as a reduction of the national debt.
S&P also does not exclude the possibility of raising Columbia’s credit rating.
