She was speaking during a ceremony of handing over the Russian humanitarian aid at the Pyongyang bakery earlier today.
According to von Roehl, the World Food Programme is currently ensuring the supply of food to some 2 million people who make their home in 85 districts of all of North Korea’s provinces.
This kind of aid is meant above all for breastfeeding mothers, pregnant women and small children.
